Come enjoy the beach! This sunny split level beachside beauty surrounded by lush tropical landscaping in the exclusive resort area of Pirates Beach on Galveston Island's West End is just what you need for a getaway. All you need to do is bring your food, clothes and suntan lotion.

We have a fresh new interior design accented by nautical colors – new furniture, fresh paints – the works! Enjoy a unique floor plan, perfectly designed for groups or families with children with 4+ bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The house can comfortably accommodate 13 guests (with a maximum occupancy of 19 if you utilize all the convertible sofa/futon beds). There is enough parking for four cars in the driveway. Great location! Close enough to the Gulf for ocean breezes - and only a five minute walk to the protected neighborhood beach! This beach home is less than a 10 minute drive (8 miles) to the hustle and bustle of Galveston restaurants and shops and just under an hour to downtown Houston.

Come enjoy the clean and airy rooms, the peacefulness of the three large decks and verandah (four of the five bedrooms overlook decks or verandah) and lush landscaping of the large fenced-in garden complete with outdoor shower, ample seating and a grassy yard for children to play. The covered verandah and pavilion style pergola are cool areas even under the mid day sun. The game room is a perfect distraction. The upper decks are perfect for star gazing after a long day on the beach.

In the gourmet kitchen with granite island serving bar and oak cabinets you will find a full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and an ample supply of serving dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glasses, and flatware for everyone. You can use the countertop for casual dining or for serving to the dining room. A picnic table outside on the lower level verandah and the chairs on the 2nd floor deck are also a wonderful spots to enjoy a meal. All you need to provide are the ingredients to create and serve fabulous meals.

Bring your young children - Mutineer Landing is child friendly! A high chair and portable crib are available on request. The home is equipped with a game room and a washer and dryer. There is lots of shade on the verandah under the second floor rear deck for play during mid day sun or even rain.

Unusual for beachside homes, this home features an oversized fenced yard with lush landscaping. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean breeze as it blows through dozens of tall palm trees, oleander and hibiscus. The large covered deck which runs across the entire front of the house is perfect for al fresco dining or late night conversations. Take your morning coffee up to the upper deck and energize yourself with ocean breeze and a bird's eye view.

After a fun day at the beach enjoy the outdoor shower to wash the sand off and then enjoy some time in the game room or a soak in the sunken hot tub spa on the second floor deck while the charcoal fire is heating up in the BBQ grill!

Need some other activities? Golf? Swimming Pool? No problem, the Galveston Country Club is only two blocks away and we can provide you access upon request.

Absolutely No Pets and No Smoking.

A word about smoking and deposits: This beach house is our home away from home and we spend a lot of family time enjoying it. We are VERY SERIOUS about our rental policy. Also, this is not a bare bones beach house, it is very much our home, so please understand the $500 cash deposit will not be refunded until we have had an opportunity to check the house for damage.
